Russian Kettlebells are amazing! These kettlebell workouts may be the answer to maintaining a home gym or having an expensive club membership.</p>
<p>With Russian kettlebells you can develop superior gains over traditional workout methods and save lots of space in your home.</p>
<p>The man who teaches Russian Kettlebell training is Pavel Tsatsouline. He is a former Spetznaz trainer. For those who may not know, Spetznaz is the Russian equivalent of the CIA or special forces.</p>
<p>As every high-risk agent would wish for, after studying some of Pavel&#8217;s books you can definitely find out how to have explosive instant power ready at all times.</p>
<p>But, not everyone is a spy; in fact very few of us are. So what benefits does kettlebell training have for the average woman or man?</p>
<p>Kettlebell training can be a great way to lose weight, tone up the body, and stay in shape once you get it there with the added benefits mentioned above.</p>
<p>And not only that, kettlebell workouts may be better for you than weights. In one of his books, Pavel mentions some of the fitness tests that were used to compare kettlebell training to traditional workouts.</p>
<p>The kettlebell trainers seemed to be in much better shape according to Pavel. And Pavel would know &#8211; You can see a picture of Pavel on his web site. The guy is well muscled and toned for someone that avoids weight training like the plague.</p>
<p>Speaking of muscle and tone, check out the incredible Ab muscles that Pavel can show you how to develope. Pavel, being an expert in physical training combined with his unique experience and insight is fully qualified to show you all about physical fitness.</p>
<p>Whether you are female or male, Pavel can show you the way to fitness. He has also collected for our benefit, what he believes to be excellent advice in nutrition.</p>
<p>Another thing I think that is interesting about Pavel and his work is that he brings his colorful and interesting Russian personality into play. For example, just think of the title of one of his books, Power to the People.</p>
<p>Me? I find that title humorous, but if I had to explain why I think it&#8217;s funny, I&#8217;m not sure that I could. It might be the underlying but subtle notion that liberation is in order for someone. Come to think of it, I guess liberation is in order.</p>
<p>Pavel wants to show us a better way to fitness and free us from our need to spend an inordinate amount of time in the gym and spend it more wisely and effectively, so that we can have great physical fitness and time to enjoy it as well.</p>
<p>As you can see by glancing at his pictures, Pavel not only knows how to develop an amazing physique but he also knows how to keep himself flexible at the same time.</p>
<p>Maybe now you can understand why I think this man has some answers to fitness that we might not be able to find anywhere else, nor all in one convenient location either.</p>

<p>Obesity and poor physical fitness constitute a health problem affecting an increasing number of children. Childhood obesity and poor physical fitness are associated with insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes mellitus, blood lipid abnormalities, and high blood pressure in later life, according to background information in the article. The causes of childhood obesity include a pervasive &#8220;toxic&#8221; environment that facilitates increased caloric intake and reduced physical activity. In order to alter the children&#8217;s environment, it is suggested, an effective strategy for prevention and treatment of childhood obesity must be pervasive and collaborative. The school setting is an attractive starting point for a collaborative effort.</p>
<p>Eye Exercise<br />
This eye exercise is as simple as it sounds. Whenever it occurs to you that you&#8217;ve been spending too much time staring at the monitor, purposely shift your vision to look at the weave of the fabric on your sleeve or the poster on the wall or the tree across the street.</p>
<p>Exercise tip for an exercise benefit:<br />
Whenever you and your spouse or friends have free time, use it to go for a hike, a day of fun with the kids in the park, etc. When kids are at a park you&#8217;ll get a lot of exercise because all children love to go up and down on the slide, swing etc. and they always want their parents to do it with them, so do it</p>
<p>Regular activity can also improve the way you look and feel. In combination with a balanced diet, regular activity can help to maintain a healthy weight. It can even boost self-confidence and reduce the risk of depression.</p>
<p>How much is enough?<br />
For an adult, regular, moderate intensity physical activity means using up about an extra 200 calories per day, most days of the week. This equates to about 30 minutes of activity, such as a two-mile brisk walk, that should make you feel warm and mildly out of breath. During moderate intensity activity, you should still be able to talk without panting in between your words.</p>

<p>There is this simple yet rarely acknowledged fact that nothing inspires people quite as much as aerobic pictures to get fit and back in shape.</p>

I know how skeptical people typically are about motivational pictures. Everyone has seen and got fed up with that tripe posted on the partition walls of their cubicles  some stranger conquering an impossible mountain against the canvas of a magnificent sunrise with some stupid caption about &#8220;persistence&#8221;, or &#8220;excellence&#8221; under it, or some poor little kitten cutie struggling to hang on to the edge of a table with her babyish claws, beneath which is inscribed, invariably in corresponding bubbly cutesy letters, &#8220;hang on&#8221;. </p>
<p>Hey, you might not believe me when I tell you this. If I were a listener like you, I would probably not believe in it either. Nonetheless, I have an urge to tell you this simple yet rarely acknowledged fact that nothing inspires people quite as much as aerobic pictures to get fit and back in shape. </p>
<p>It is considered a sign of very low refinement even to put such thing up, let alone to confess to be motivated by them  unless you are a middle manager, in which case low refinement is considered more of a virtue than a vice. However, at least in the case of aerobic pictures, it is true. The right picture can really give people that extra push and get them moving.</p>
<p>Well, you think I am exaggerating. No not really. Seeing people sweating every day enables me to tell the gleam of sweat from the gleam of confidence. What I see here is definitely the gleam of confidence. They look at those aerobic pictures and stand up straighter, work that much harder, and I believe, go home feeling a whole lot better about themselves. Even the aerobic exercise classes seem to go better once the pictures are present.</p>
<p>I should know. I am a manager at the Skinny Booty Gym downtown, and I oversee various tasks including decorating the walls. It has given me plenty of time to observe people in their workouts, and the differences that those aerobic pictures make are surprising. Before I stick them up, many people seemed to be just painfully dragging on with their workouts, without hope of ever attaining any fitness goals. Since I put up the aerobic pictures, however, things have taken a dramatic turn. It is like the aerobic pictures lift everyone&#8217;s morale that makes them practically shine with confidence. </p>
<p>After seeing this effect on people, I have even taken down my other motivational posters and put up the aerobic pictures around my cubicle in the gym. Even when I am not doing any exercise, the pictures of fit, trim people doing their aerobics workouts seems to tell me I should put in a little bit more effort into whatever tasks I am attending to at the moment. There are many types of decorations which are more beautiful, more exciting, and flashier than aerobic pictures, but I have yet to find one that exerts a bigger positive influence on the work ethics. And isn&#8217;t that the most crucial thing of all?</p>

Even the sports considered tough can be practiced in a &#8217;soft&#8217; way (tae-bo, mini-triathlon, jogging, etc.).</p>
<p>2. Training is tiring. This idea is true as long as it refers to consuming all your energy (muscular and hepatic glycogen), but it doesn&#8217;t mean that training gets you into that state of exhaustion which would slow down the process of recovery of the body. Even in performance sports, the purpose is to have rather effective than exhausting training, so that the body can get the stimulation necessary to qualitative progress from one training to the next.</p>
<p>Even more than in other sports, in fitness the sportsman is spared overexerting. However, the training must not become ineffective. People can come to the gym tired after a work day and leave relaxed (physically and psychologically) and not more tired. This is extremely useful for people with sedentary jobs, but also for those who make physical effort at work. They could use the training by choosing a type of effort meant to compensate the one involved in their job.</p>
<p>3. Training takes too long. Again, this idea is true if applied to performance, which can only be obtained by working a lot. But also in this case short and very intense training or training for relaxation and recovery are often performed. In fitness, you can get to 20-minute training, working only super-series of fast exercises, which could involve, directly or indirectly, all the muscles. Anyway, regular training shouldn&#8217;t take longer than an hour and a half. Otherwise, the body will get into the catabolic faze, when the cortisone secretions &#8216;cannibalize&#8217; the muscles.</p>
<p>4. Any type of exercise is good for solving your problems. What&#8217;s true in this refers to some particular cases like excess of adipose tissue. This tissue can be &#8216;melted&#8217; by any kind of aerobic exercise (running, cycling, swimming) if this is continued long enough. Even in these cases it was clear that some exercises are more effective than others. There are situations when only a combination of exercises with a certain amount of each, can provide you with the results you expect. More than that, repeating the same exercise all the time can have as a consequence not only losing balance in the antagonist muscles and in the joints involved in training, but also stopping progress or even regressing. </p>
<p>5. You&#8217;re older? No more exercises! This is true only if we refer to extremely demanding efforts (really heavy weights, fast running, jumping, etc.). There are lots of exercises adapted to different ages. Their purpose is to keep and improve health and also to improve physical shape. The development of movement parameters for older people refers especially to muscular and cardio-vascular resistance as well as mobility of the joints. Because the final purpose of training is not preparing for a competition, the exercises can be organized gradually according to their difficulty, eliminating the risk of accidents. Because it&#8217;s based on perseverance, fitness can be adapted without problems for older people and even for people suffering from different affections specific to old age.</p>

According to past research and studies, nearly 80% of all Americans will experience some type of back pain in their lives.  The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons believes this as well, as they say 80% of us out there will encounter some type of problem with our back before we die. </p>
<p>Traditionally, the treatment for lower back pain is increasing core strength to increase flexibility on muscles that are tight, which will provide better stabilization of the spine and exercises to correct the imbalances of the muscles.  The muscles that surround the spine will provide stability and support of the spinal column. </p>
<p>Every muscle between the hips and shoulders are  included as well, as these muscles are referred to as the core muscles.  Back pain can be a result of muscle imbalances caused by any of these core muscles.  If the back of your thighs are weaker than the front of your thighs, there will be an uneven pull on the front of your spinal column.   </p>
<p>There are some effective ways that you can integrate core strength training exercises into all of the exercises you perform, rather than doing just the traditional crunches and sit-ups.  One such way is by breathing effectively.  Deep breathing will utilize your diaphragm muscles which will help  support the spinal column and lengthen the spine, which is great for your lower back and supporting you when you walk or run. </p>
<p>The tummy tuck and bridge lift can also help you to reduce back pain and strengthen the core  muscles as well.  The tummy tuck exercise is a simple pelvic tilt that draws the abdominal muscles away from the floor.  Do perform a tummy tuck, simply lie face down on the floor and squeeze your glutes to strengthen your spine. </p>
<p>Instead of pressing into your thighs, you should instead reach your tailbone down towards your heels.  Perform 15 reps of each exercise and alternate them until you have completed a couple of sets.   </p>
<p>For the bridge, place your feet on a bench or on the floor and scoop your pelvis upward, as your rib cage should stay low to reduce any irritation to your spinal muscles.  The bridge will help to relieve stress on your back and focus the muscle contractions into the glutes and the hamstrings. </p>
<p>Other exercises for lower back pain are the lumbar side stretch, hip flexor stretch, and calf stretches, as all three can help to alleviate pull on your spinal column. </p>
<p>Hip flexor stretch When doing a hip flexor stretch, bring one foot forward in a bent knee, 90 degree angle, while your other leg is on the floor behind you with your foot pointed upwards toward the ceiling.  The hip flexor stretch will help to open up the  muscles of your back on the side of the spine near your hips.  You can also squeeze your glutes as  well to deepen the stretch with each breath you exhale.  You should begin to feel a stretch in your back leg, in the thigh front and the hamstrings on your front leg. </p>
<p>Lumbar side stretch This stretch will bring your legs wide with your  knees bent while you sit or stand.  Simply bring one hand down towards your foot on the inside of  the thighs and your other hand behind your head. </p>
<p>The last stretch will open up your Achilles tendon, which is the most distant pull on the spine.  For this, place an object under your foot and lean the weight of your body forwards.  Maintain a fluid breath while you hold stretches for 30 seconds or so.  After a while, you should begin to feel a  stretch behind your knee and shin.</p>

<p>It is beneficial to your child to partake in a weight training program but here are some things to keep in mind when getting your child into a weight training program.</p>

Your child of lets say eight years old tells you he or she wants to start exercising and that he or she wants to start lifting weights. Now you might want to know if this is really a good idea, if it is safe and if it will benefit your child or if it is not something that is recommended for children to do.</p>
<p> The long and short of it is, yes, it is beneficial to your child to partake in a weight training program but here are some things to keep in mind when getting your child into a weight training program.</p>
<p>Children are not miniature adults and so you cannot use the same methods on growing children as you can with adults as children are different from adults anatomically, physiologically and emotionally. Children have immature skeletons. Their bones do not mature until age 14 to 22 years old. In girls, exercise during childhood can have critical effects on bone health that can last for their whole lives. </p>
<p>Children are often vulnerable to growth related overuse injuries such as Osgood schlatter&#8217;s disease. Children have immature temperature regulation systems due to having a large surface area compared to their muscle mass which makes them more susceptible to injury when not properly warmed up.</p>
<p> Children do not sweat as much as adults so they are also more susceptible to heat exhaustion as well as heat stroke. Their low muscle mass and immature hormone system makes it harder for them to develop strength and speed and their breathing and heart responses during exercise are different from an adult&#8217;s which affects their capacity for exercise.</p>
<p>Now, boys and girls can greatly improve their strength with weight training but as opposed to adults, neurological factors instead of muscle growth factors are mostly responsible for these gains. When considering a program for a child, medical clearance should be obtained first and foremost. The best first approach for designing a program is to establish a repetition range of 8 to 12 and keep the work load appropriate for that range. </p>
<p>Workouts should be spread out to have at least 1 to 2 full days of rest between each workout and the main focus on every exercise performed should be on form and technique, not on weight lifted. Some guidelines to consider are: warm-up and stretching should be done before weight training. Start with light loads and make appropriate adjustments from there. No more than 3 non-consecutive exercise sessions should be done in a week and see that they drink plenty of water before, during and after exercise.</p>
<p>Always remember that if at anytime your child is sick, has an injury of any kind or seems tired or non-energetic, do not have them exercise until you are sure they are better or until they have seen a doctor and have clearance from them.</p>

You can&#8217;t count the benefits of exercising.  They are just too numerous.  They help control weight, help weight loss, improve your attitude and generally make you feel better.  The experts are now telling us that just thirty minutes a day of moving will improve your health.</p>
<p>While I must accept the opinions of so many experts, I still find setting aside the time is a problem in my busy life.  If you experience the same problem, you might try some of these ideas to get you going:</p>
<p>1.	When you go to the mall or grocery store, don&#8217;t park next to the front door of the store.  Leave your car as far from the store as you can.  This will give you more of a walk in an effortless way.</p>
<p>2.	When the weather suits you, go outside and clean the yard.  Just bending and stretching to pick up leaves and trash will burn calories.</p>
<p>3.	Try taking the dog for a walk.  Your dog will enjoy this very much and keep you moving.</p>
<p>4.	At work, perhaps you can walk at lunch time.  I&#8217;ve found that some of my office staff are willing to walk some days with me.  This makes the time go faster and yet, I&#8217;ve exercised during the daylight hours.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure you can find many more reasons and ideas to help motivate you in the right direction.  I find that walking in the sunshine helps improve my mood and that I will just make the time when the sun is out.  Find your reason to help yourself.</p>
